SUMMER TIME – ARENA POETRY CONTEST
Well maybe the weather, at the moment, isn’t exactly the epitome of our warmer months, but why should that stop us from writing about it? For our latest Arena competition we want you to wax lyrical about summer. How is it for you? Long, halcyon days swinging in a hammock or soggy bar-be-ques, ravenous midges and shivery evenings?

Alternatively, summer may mean hay making and harvest or some other work based task. Whatever it is, give us your take in a maximum of 20 lines.

Closing date, 10th August.

As usual the best entry will receive £20.
